PESCO Energy & Resources took part in the first conference "Hydrogen Russia and CIS 2021".
Hydrogen is the most energy-intensive and lightest substance of all fuels.
The energy transition is necessary to keep global warming well below 2°C.
This is an ambitious goal that will require economies around the world to decarbonise a large part of the global energy system. Hydrogen has the potential to be a powerful enabler of this transition because it is a versatile, clean, and safe energy carrier that can be used as an energy fuel or as an industrial feedstock. Hydrogen produces zero emissions at the point of use. Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies have significant potential for the transition to a clean, low-carbon energy system. Completion of this transition will result in significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and improved air quality.
The Hydrogen Russia and CIS 2021 Conference gave all participants an opportunity to understand the trajectory of hydrogen projects, technologies and implementation methods in the context of the global energy transition.
PESCO was able to make significant progress in developing relationships with key clients in the Russian and CIS markets, and become acquainted with a number of hydrogen energy projects that are of great interest to the company.
